She also played Daphne in True Blood, the HBO drama True Blood in its second season. Ashley Jones earned a Bachelor of Human Learning, K-8 in 1997 at the University of Tennessee at Martin. She began her professional career as teacher within Maury County where she taught students in Kindergarten and First Grade Reading. Brent Jones was her UT Martin fan. They moved into Thompsons Station. Bethesda Elementary is where she started teaching 4th grade. Between 1999 and 2000, she was teaching while getting her Masters of Instruction at Trevecca Nazarene University but stepped away from the classroom when they welcomed their oldest son Baylor into the family in 2000. Ashley has focused her energy over the past fifteen years to ensure the health of the kids in her community and church. Ashley is a leader for the Preschool Ministry, and in student Ministry for more than 13 years. Ashley has spent the last three years home homeschooling her kids. Ashley taught History for kindergarten and 1st Grade at home was also a participant in this course. God showed her family, that even though she loved homeschooling with the children and having time with them and spending time with them, it was the right time to take Ashley back to the classroom. Brent and Ashley are the parents of five kids. Silas Eliza, and Cruz attend GCA. Baylor is a GCA grad and plays baseball together with UT Martin. Callan, a GCA graduate also studies at Western Kentucky University. They are a busy family that enjoys hunting fishing and cheering each other on in their favorite sports and activities.
