Maureen Denise McCormick was born on the 5th of August 1956, in Woodland Hills California the youngest and sole daughter of Richard McCormick and Irene McCormick. Her father was an educator at school and her mom was a stay at home mom. Michael Dennis, Kevin and Dennis are her three oldest brothers. Beginning at a very early stage of life, McCormick loved to sing and dance and would often present puppet shows to kids in the community. She was crowned her first contest, the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley Contest when she was just 6 years old and was contacted by Pat Domigan, a talent agent of the Jack Wormser Agency. He was interested in her desire to be a part of the show business. McCormick was offered her first gig as an actress major in the year 1964. She starred in an advertisement for Mattels the newest doll baby Pattaburp. A year later she appeared in an additional firm's Chatty Cathy Doll and was soon chosen to play The Brady Bunch La Jolla Playhouse play Wind ItUp and ItBreaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick won the 1969 audition of more than 1200 children to become the youngest of three twin daughters in The Brady Bunch TV program The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed and Robert Reed. The show ran for 5 seasons. McCormick wrote in her book from 2008 Heres the Story : Surviving Marcia Brady & Finding My True Voice that she nearly ended her relationship in the fifth season with Barry Williams, her co-star and brother on screen. In 2008, McCormick revealed in her book, Here's the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice that during season five on the show, she was close to losing her virginity to actor Barry Williams. She stated, but the time wasn't the right time for us.
