In America, the early performing arts accomplishments of young Maureen FitzSimons (who we know as Maureen O'Hara) would definitely be in the prodigy child category. A child of Irish origins, who was surrounded her by talented parents and family members was naturally gifted, it came as a natural. Maureen came to this loving sanctuary on August 17th, 1920. Her family was her parents and family members. Marguerita FitzSimons was a gifted contralto. Charles FitzSimons managed a Dublin-based company and was the owner of a portion of "The Shamrock Rovers" an eminent Irish soccer team. Maureen FitzSimons' was the second FitzSimons kid. Peggy FitzSimons Florrie Charles B. Fitzsimons Margot Fitzsimons James O'Hara made up this family. Maureen enjoyed playing sports as a kid and excelled at sports. Her natural ability to perform perfectly complemented her interest in sport. She took home almost all Feis Award for Theater and Drama the country could give. At the age of 14, she was accepted to the highly acclaimed Abbey Theater and pursued her goal of performing in classical theatre along with operatic music.
